<p>Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 9:40AM --SPOTTED: Scott Adsit at Midtown Comics on Wednesday night. Do you think he thinks the current X-Men "Messiah Complex" crossover is a total rip-off of Children of Men? One can only wonder.</p>

<p>--Sounds like Fearsome's Alex Goldberg is going to soon be battling for Google search turf from A RISING ALEX GOLDBERG, a 14-year old wunderkind recently profiled in New York Magazine.</p>

<p>--The Apple Sisters have been putting on one of the best shows in town lately. Let's hope their Christmas spectacular (opening tomorrow) keeps the buzz going. If Three's Company or The Golden Girls were ever to be revived on Broadway, the producers would be fawning over these ladies like Yankees prospects.</p>
<p>--Daniel Kitson had the SOLD OUT crowd cooing at Union Hall on Sunday night. He was working out new material for the Melbourne Comedy Festival, so there weren't a whole lot of punchlines polished yet. Kitson, who seems to be in the throes of an existential nightmare, kept coming back to the theme that we're all just bundles of piss and shit and spunk on a floating hunk of dirt. Oh, and when we interact with people, we're actually just interfering. And... how if we really thought about all the terrible things that go on in this world, it's a wonder that we can maintain our composure. Just as you begin to feel all is hopeless, he'll toss out a nugget of profundity that suggests that despite all this commiserating taking place in Park Slope, perhaps a tree can grow in Brooklyn after all. At any rate, he did remind us of some fun British vocab words like "knuckledusters" (brass knuckles) and "trousers" (pants). A gaggle of comedians and industry filled up all available standing room.</p>
