<p>Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 1:29PM After the curtain came down at Long Story Short, Colin Quinn is pictured here at his theater's exit bravely fighting AIDS as he busks for loose change for Broadway Cares, a nonprofit organization that raises and distributes money for AIDS/HIV initiatives. I've been to a couple Broadway shows lately and this appears to be a fundraising push taking place across all the big theaters. Most shows are raising money by selling autographed memorabilia or by offering unique experiences. For example, over at The Addams Family, a $250 donation will get you 5 minutes with Nathan Lane in his dressing room! <p>Friday, November 12, 2010 at 5:19PM Hey gang, almost forgot to tell you. We're running TWO great giveaways this weekend. This other one is for a pair of tix to see Colin Quinn's return to Broadway in Long Story Short. Randomly enough, the show is directed by the acclaimed Broadway director, Jerry Seinfeld, who you probably know from his other Broadway smashes: Rock of Ages, Mary Poppins and FELA.</p>
<p>> Comically channeling the demise of great world empires, Colin Quinn uses his “articulate brand of comedy” in taking audiences through an uproarious history of the world in 75 minutes.
