<p>Monday, May 9, 2005 at 6:33AM Anyone else care to SPECULATE whether Will Ferrell will be at ASSSSCAT this Sunday? We have no proof. But we do know he'll be in town this week hosting SNL. And we know ASSSSCAT likes to surprise fans with crazy superstars. If you're going to wait on line for the free show, be prepared to get there earlier. The idea of Will Ferrell doing long form improv for an intimate group of rabid fanatics will surely be buzzing in the heads of those planning on attending.</p>

<p>Sunday, May 8, 2005 at 8:18PM The opening credits were rolling as usual on SNL when all of a sudden the announcer goes, "Featuring.. Jason Sudeikis!" thus causing The Apiary to perk up and go "Huh? New guy? Who? Wait! We know him!" He comes by for the always worthwhile ASSSSCAT shows on Sundays at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. We've also seen him perform at last summer's Del Close Improv Marathon in a slot titled "Amy Poehler's All Star Nerd Roundup." He's instantly charismatic and could easily be mistaken for a Daily Show correspondent. But how'd he get on SNL? Research shows that he trained in Second City Chicago, joined the Main Stage of Second City Las Vegas, then auditioned for SNL for the 2003-04 season. They didn't have enough room on the cast AT THE TIME, but liked him so much they offered him a job as a writer. Any ideas on why Sudeikis was introduced to America with just two episodes left in the season? Ask, 'What's your favorite color...ed person?'"Does he have any upcoming shows?Yes! Demetri's got one TONIGHT at Rififi's/Cinema Classics where he'll be debuting all new material--20 or 30 NEW jokes, he said.Is Conan really leaving NY for LA when he takes over the Tonight Show?Nobody knows for sure! <p>Monday, May 2, 2005 at 8:47PM Let's think logically. Grueling 80 hour work weeks, all night writing sessions, all-day read throughs-- there's just no time for burping babies. As mildly amusing and creepy as it might be to hear anecdotes about Robert Smigel or Don Pardo changing Tina Fetus' diapers like Uncle Joey wrapping Michelle in a roll of paper towels on Full House, let's allow reality to kick us in the junk--this WILL be Tina's last season on the show. You heard it here first. Can we look at history to get a grim glimpse of the future? Sure. Ana Gasteyer was the first pregant player to be on the cast of SNL. Where is she now? Not on the show anymore! Molly Shannon was preggers too and what's she up to? Off makin' movies! Yeah yeah. We should be happy for Tina. It's her body, her choice... But what about our needs?? We want more of Tina Fey's brain!
