<p>Monday May 10 2010  The Origin of Debbie Downer Raises the Possiblity of an SNL Multiverse</p>
<p>Monday, May 10, 2010 at 12:16PM In this weekend's stellar SNL, a number of sketches were posted to Hulu that would have been left on the dress rehearsal floor, including THE WOLVERINE ORIGIN FOR SNL NERDS, aka the origin of Debbie Downer.</p>
<p>It's nice to see these dress clips even though they're basically flashing sideways like they do on LOST and creating AN SNL MULTIVERSE that sort of exists but not really. Will we be expected to know facts about these sketches for future genuses of Trivial Pursuit: Saturday Night Live? Please advise.</p>

<p>Friday, May 7, 2010 at 4:31PM For the 2nd time in a year, the Barry Horowitz of beer pong jobbers, Betty White, suffered a humiliating loss to her opponent, Jimmy Fallon, on Late Night. She loses so much the Detroit Lions cheer themselves up by saying, "Hey, at least we're not Betty White!" I'm almost embarrassed to wear my Betty White jersey around town. Get your head in the game, lady!</p>

<p>And just like that, during last night's episode of The Office ("Secretary's Day," Season 6, Episode 22), we watched Ellie Kemper and Zach Woods become bona fide comedy stars. In many ways, it felt like a coming out party in which both actors showcased for the rest of the world the same comedy chops we've been admiring on the improv stage these many years. So from here on out, we're fully expecting to one day be standing on a subway platform, listening to Cut Copy and seeing their friendly faces staring back at us from movie posters. If you haven't seen last night's Office episode, just watch it and you'll know what we mean.</p>

<p>All you tongue waggers out there wondering, "Does Queen Latifah sort of love dudes?" OR "Is she TOTALLY into dudes?," well here's your proof right here in this candid photograph we took. Look at how much she enjoys that professional athlete pressing his organ into the crest of her sweatpants-covered buttocks as they tussle for "a basketball," an overt symbol of her lovebox. Sure she's playing hard to get, but they're both so into it! And why wouldn't he like her? She must've spent countless evenings with her personal trainer, sweating, glistening, and massaging each other in order to get her body into the kind of shape that a baller with access to any woman in the world would lust for. These two make a nice couple.</p>

<p>Monday, April 19, 2010 at 3:40PM The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Improv Everywhere's chief commander, Charlie Todd, is one of the EPs of a prank show under development for CBS starring Drew Carey. The show is being produced by RelativityReal, the reality arm of Relativity Media.</p>
<p>> CBS is developing a hidden-camera show starring Drew Carey.</p>
<p>> The host of "The Price Is Right" host is teaming with producer Tom Forman for a project with the working title "WTF!" -- which in this case stands for "Wow That's Funny!" "WTF" shot a pilot presentation Saturday in which Carey and a troop of comedic agents wreck havoc in public places.</p>
<p>> The project combines a hidden-camera show with flash-mob tactics as the group pulls benevolent pranks on deserving citizens.</p>

<p>Monday, April 12, 2010 at 12:04PM  Justin Bieber and Kenan Thompson backstage at SNL | Pic via @justinbieber In case you were wondering how Justin Bieber got on SNL, there wasn't a ravenous sharkpool of agents and lawyers and promoters and hairstylists shoving him from one car to the next, it was pretty much single-handedly the incessant twittering of @bieberonSNL that landed him on the show, claims @bieberonSNL, a teenage girl named Alex Buchinski. Once it was announced that her dream of making someone who's famous even more famous had been realized, there was just one little problem: No one invited her to Justin Bieber's SNL tapings! Et tu, Bieber?? Feeling cast aside like a bag of Taco Bell litter along the road to fame, Alex was sad, demoralized, and had nowhere to turn but Twitter.</p>
<p>She moped around all Saturday evening:</p>
<p>> "no i'm not going to SNL alot of people are asking me and I'm sick of saying I'm not going becuase it really brings me down."</p>
<p>Then, she was dealt an earth-shattering blow:</p>
<p>> "R U SERIOUS BIEBERARMY GOT FREE TIX?! R U KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW? NOO LIKE WTF?!"</p>
<p>So she got all up in Bieberarmy's face, in a passive aggressive kind of way:</p>
<p>> "RT @TheMrsJBieber: Even though we all know @BieberOnSNL deserves to be at SNL more than BieberArmy, lets make #BieberOnSNL trend"</p>
<p>Turned out to be a rumor so she calmed down. But her fate began to sink in, would she end up watching SNL like a normal person who barely knows what a Justin Bieber is--someone who did nothing to make him a superstar??:</p>
<p>> "I honestly think I should be at SNL.. like idk I just think that I did Sooo much"</p>
<p>She watched SNL and enjoyed it, begrudgingly. As bedtime approached, she realized that her precious blessings (bah!) would have to suffice:</p>
<p>> "it's ok.. my tome will come and if it doesn't it's ok.. people have it SOOO much more worse.. I'm sorry. good night. I love u guys thanks(:"</p>
<p>Now that her single-purpose Twitter handle has been made irrelevant, could there be any upside to this horribly depressing tragedy of teen fanaticism? There actually was! She was invited to New York City by JB's people on Sunday for a private concert exclusively for Bieberserkers.</p>
